Recreational Leagues

Recreational League Play

This is where it all begins, and it doesn’t have to end. With all the recreational fast pitch softball options to play into your high school years, your team can stay together from elementary all the way until high school graduation day. Leagues depend on participation to fuel league growth and investment. Recreational fast pitch softball has both Fall and Spring seasons, All-Star games and great fans. We encourage players on select travel teams and high school teams to sign up for recreational leagues as well, to gain repetition on the field, and try new positions.

New Local Select League Announced

While not a Recreational League, think of it as a local select league. The new North Texas Fastpitch Coaches Association (NTFCA) offers highly competitive play in Plano with USSSA rules. League play is on the beautiful Plano Heritage Yards and offers double headers on set nights of the week (Monday through Friday) for a total of 10 games. It’s ideal for teams looking for a higher level of play facing local teams, without the commitment of travel ball. It’s also perfect for select clubs or school clubs looking for more reps and field time and a season that leaves weekends free for other teams or sports. NTFCA offers 8U to HS divisions.

Recreational League Tournament

Keep those fingers crossed, girls. We’re hopeful that Collin County will host one for us, like they do the boys baseball Collin County Classic. For now, your recreational team can compete at the Middle School Matchup event.
